Ordering

How far in advance do I need to order?

Fresh (fried) orders require 24 hours notice. Frozen packs are often available same day — just check availability when you order. For large orders (48+ pieces), please give us 48-72 hours notice.

What's the minimum order?

For fresh orders, most individual items have a minimum of 6 pieces per type. Frozen packs come in set quantities (12 or 24 pieces). There's no minimum for pick-up; delivery requires a £15 minimum order.

Can I mix and match items in my order?

Absolutely! You can order any combination of rissóis, croquetes, and pastéis de bacalhau. Our Party Platter and Event Box options come pre-mixed, but we can customise based on your preferences.

How do I place an order?

Browse our menu, add items to your cart, and complete checkout with your details. We'll confirm your order via email and arrange collection or delivery time.

Delivery & Collection

Do you deliver?

Yes! We deliver within approximately 5 miles of Marden, Kent. Delivery is free on orders over £30, or £3 for smaller orders. Minimum order for delivery is £15.

Where can I collect from?

Collection is from our home in Marden, Kent. We'll share the exact address when you place your order. Collection is free with no minimum order.

What areas do you deliver to?

We cover Marden and surrounding areas including Staplehurst, Headcorn, Paddock Wood, Yalding, Collier Street, Goudhurst, Horsmonden, and parts of Maidstone. Not sure? Just ask!

Fresh vs Frozen

What's the difference between fresh and frozen?

Fresh orders are fried on the day and delivered hot/warm — perfect for events or immediate enjoyment. Frozen packs are uncooked and need to be fried at home from frozen. Both use the same delicious recipes!

How do I cook frozen products?

Deep fry from frozen at 180°C for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Do not thaw before frying. An air fryer also works great — just add a few extra minutes.

How long do frozen products keep?

Keep frozen at -18°C for up to 3 months. Once thawed, do not refreeze. Cook within 24 hours of thawing.

Can I freeze fresh products?

We recommend enjoying fresh products on the day for best results. However, if you have leftovers, they can be refrigerated and reheated (oven is best) within 2 days.

Allergens & Dietary

What allergens are in your products?

Most products contain gluten (wheat), eggs, and dairy. Shrimp rissóis contain shellfish. Pastéis de bacalhau contain fish (cod). Full allergen information is displayed on each product page.

Are any products vegetarian or vegan?

Yes! Our Rissóis de Legumes are 100% vegetarian — available fresh or frozen. They contain gluten, dairy, and eggs, so they're not vegan. We're exploring more veggie options for the future!

Can you accommodate allergies?

While we prepare all products in the same kitchen, we're happy to discuss your specific needs. Please contact us before ordering if you have serious allergies.

Payment

How do I pay?

After placing your order, we'll send payment instructions via email. We accept bank transfer and cash on collection/delivery.

When do I need to pay?

Payment is required before we prepare your order. For cash payments, pay on collection or delivery.

Can I cancel my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Cancellations made at least 12 hours before your collection/delivery time can be refunded in full.
